Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) - 250g

Lion's Mane is a large, white, spherical mushroom covered in spines, giving it the unique appearance of a frozen waterfall. It has a delicate flavour and a texture similar to white fish or crab meat. It can be split into smaller chunks, battered and fried like nuggets, or sliced into steaks, or used as a substitute for crabmeat in fishcakes. This mushroom holds marinades very well and is a great addition to soups and hot pots.
